Spectral Labs created SGS-1, the first generative model for structured CAD. SGS-1 is a foundation model that generates fully manufacturable and parametric 3D geometry, producing CAD B-Rep parts in STEP format for engineering use cases.

SGS-1 capabilities include creating new parametric geometry within assembly contexts, transforming sketches and drawings into 3D CAD files, and converting scans, STL files, or mesh files to parametric STEP files—automating reverse engineering workflows.

The model is available on Hugging Face and can generate 3D CAD models from images.
